Most Honorable People before God Are Most Pious Ones
God says in Verse 13 of Surah Al-Hujurat: “People, We have created you all male and female and have made you nations and tribes so that you would recognize each other. The most honorable among you in the sight of God is the most pious of you. God is All-knowing and All-aware.”
That Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) has sounded the horn of peace and friendship in heavens so as to end the conflicts of the 72 nations at the order of God, has a message, and that s that God has created men and women to live together in peace and have children.
God has created people in different groups, tribes and faiths not in order for them to be at war with one another but to know one another and benefit from each other’s blessings.
And the criterion for judging people before God is Taqwa (God-fearing) and piety.
So each of you, no matter from what tribe or nation you are or what faith you have, will be honored before God if you do good deeds.
The truth that some have failed to see is that the essence of religion and the truth of faith is Taqwa and piety, which is not limited to any religion or creed.
The root of wars, disputes and conflicts is this very lack of Taqwa and the presence of selfishness and worldly desires.
Religious wars, and actually power-seeking struggles among different nations under the disguise of fake values have created so many tragedies in the history of humanity and if that causes some people to abandon religion and move toward Kufr (disbelief), those who create such conflicts are to blame.
